MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Parks is teaming up with the Memphis Grizzlies to host free youth basketball clinics next week.
The Junior Grizzlies Basketball Clinics will take place from 4-5:30 p.m. Oct. 13-17 at several regional community centers. They’re scheduled during a week when students are on fall break.
The clinics are for boys and girls ages 6-14, no matter their skill level.
Memphis Parks said participants will receive a Grizzlies T-shirt as the clinics include skill instruction, competitive games and chances to win prizes. Preregistration is required.
Below are the times, dates and locations of next week’s Junior Grizzlies Basketball Clinics (check-in begins 30 minutes prior):
4-5:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 13: Ed Rice Community Center, 2935 North Watkins Street in Memphis4-5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14: Hickory Hill Community Center, 3910 Ridgeway Road in Memphis4-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15: Bert Ferguson Community Center, 8505 Trinity Road in Cordova4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16: Orange Mound Community Center, located 2590 Park Avenue in Memphis4-5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 (girls only): The House of We, located at 616 Shelby Oaks Drive in Memphis
