The Boston Celtics will take on the Toronto Raptors at their home court of Scotiabank Arena for their second of four preseason games for the coming 2025-26 NBA regular season on Friday (Oct. 10) evening. The Celtics make the trip to Canada with a mostly healthy roster while star forward Jayson Tatum continues to rehab his Achilles tendon tear.

The Celtics will look to follow up their 121-103 win vs. the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday (Oct. 8) night with another while getting an extended look at how this retooling roster does against a more seasoned if also retooling Raptors roster on the road.

Records, standing, and streaks

This is Boston’s second preseason game, as noted above, which has them tied with the Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers for third place in the Eastern Conference.

For Toronto, this is their third preseason contest, with the Raps splitting the other two games so far. That has them tied with the Brooklyn Nets and Detroit Pistons for fourth place in the East.

For the Raptors, Scottie Barnes (knee), Jakob Poeltl (back), and Ulrich Chomche (undisclosed) are day-to-day.

What happened in the last game for each team?
