Former LA Lakers star Dwight Howard has an alarming verdict for the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics.
The Golden State Warriors will play with their season on the line in Game 5 of the second round against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Considering the Dubs face a 3-1 deficit and Stephen Curry will remain out of action, it will certainly be an uphill battle for the 2022 NBA champions.
While many are still hoping to see a miraculous comeback by the Warriors, former Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard has a different view on the series’ outcome.

Howard recently made an appearance on the ‘Inside The NBA’ show where he discussed the upcoming Warriors vs Timberwolves Game 5 contest.
Upon being asked if the Dubs have any chances to ignite a comeback in the matchup, Howard claimed there’s a “zero chance” of that happening.
The Boston Celtics also received collateral damage in the 2020 NBA champion’s take.
“They got about the same amount of a chance as Boston do. Zero. It’s over for both of them. I’m going with it. Yes, Golden State is out!” Howard said.
So far, the Warriors have been utterly outplayed by the dynamic duo of Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle.
Keeping that in mind, there’s no reason to doubt the Timberwolves stars won’t be able to finish the job in Game 5 and send the Warriors home.

Jalen Rose reacts to Howard’s take on the Warriors
Jalen Rose also joined the show as a special guest and he wasted no time in agreeing with Howard’s take on the Warriors’ chances to spark a comeback.
“I agree with you on the Warriors. Anthony Edwards has shown me a level of dominance and killer instinct. Now that he can really shoot the three-pointer.
“He’s getting his teammates involved and Julius Randle has been terrific this series. I think Minnesota finds a way to close it out,” Rose said.
Considering the Timberwolves will be playing against their home crowd, it only makes the job easier for them. As Howard and Rose claimed, it feels like the Warriors’ season will likely conclude in Game 5.
