The Washington Wizards unveiled their promotional and theme night schedule for the 2025-26 season Monday, featuring player-designed giveaways and the return of popular fan events.
The first 15,000 fans at the Oct. 26 home opener against the Charlotte Hornets will receive a Wizards-branded rally towel courtesy of Capital One.
For the first time, the team will offer custom player-designed giveaways. Guard Bub Carrington designed pajama pants that the first 10,000 fans will receive Nov. 25, while second-year guard AJ Johnson created a City Edition-themed hat for distribution Feb. 3.
Other notable giveaways include a Wizards crewneck sweatshirt Jan. 27 and a co-branded Wizards-SpongeBob SquarePants hat Jan. 4. Fans can upgrade their experience with a special ticket package that includes a SpongeBob basketball jersey.
The City Edition giveaway series will feature a Kyshawn George bobblehead Jan. 2, a 2006-09 Wizards replica jersey March 5 and a fan appreciation T-shirt April 10.
The Wizards will celebrate retired guard John Wall during a special night this season, honoring his NBA career and contributions to the team and Washington community. Details will be announced later.
For the second consecutive year, the team will host Hoops & Hounds Night Feb. 22, allowing fans to bring dogs to the Hornets game. The Brandywine Valley SPCA will have dogs available for adoption on the concourse.
The Wizards will also recognize 20 heritage nights and 10 college series nights, along with theme nights including Military Appreciation Night Jan. 22, Pride Night March 19 and Cherry Blossom Night March 21.
The Friday Night Concert Series presented by Sprite returns for its 10th season. Artists will be announced in coming weeks.
