The Philadelphia 76ers have their eyes set on a talented forward ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.

The NBA preseason hasn’t been kind to the Philadelphia 76ers, as the organization has suffered three consecutive defeats.

This includes two back-to-back losses at the hands of their Eastern Conference rivals, the New York Knicks.

Speaking of which, the 76ers are reportedly planning to sign a former Knicks player, MarJon Beauchamp.

Beauchamp, 25, has already tried his luck with three NBA franchises in his young career, with his most recent stint being with the Knicks.

After just six games under his belt with the Knicks, the team decided to part ways with him this summer. Now, according to NBA insider Keith Pompey, the 76ers and Beauchamp have agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal.

“If everything goes as expected, MarJon Beauchamp will sign a contract with the Sixers. Sources have said the 6-foot-6 small forward has agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract with the Sixers.

“However, a team source said it is not official yet,” Pompey reported on X.

Previously, Beauchamp spent a week with the Portland Trail Blazers, but he was waived by the Western Conference side.

Prior to the NBA preseason, Beauchamp was a member of the Knicks’ NBA Summer League roster. During his short stint, one game stood out the most.

It was the Knicks vs the Brooklyn Nets matchup in the competition where Beauchamp went off for 25 points. He also recorded 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals for the team.

Despite that impressive performance, the Knicks decided against converting the 25-year-old’s deal into a standard contract.

With the 76ers’ deal expected to be announced soon, it will be interesting to see if Beauchamp manages to impress the coaching staff.
