The Cavaliers made a pair of roster moves Monday, waiving forwards Miller Kopp and Chaney Johnson, per NBA.com’s official transaction log.
Both players joined Cleveland on Exhibit 10 contracts in late September and spent training camp competing for a spot with the team’s G League affiliate, the Cleveland Charge.
Kopp appeared in two preseason games, while Johnson saw action in one.
Kopp, 26, went undrafted out of Indiana in 2023 and spent the past two seasons developing with the Oklahoma City Blue, the Thunder’s G League affiliate.
A reliable shooter, Kopp averaged 12.3 points and 5.4 rebounds last season while knocking down nearly 42 percent of his threes.
Johnson, a 6-foot-7 wing from Auburn, was signed shortly after going undrafted this summer.
He served as a key reserve for a Tigers team that reached the Final Four, averaging 9.1 points and 4.9 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per game.
Both players are expected to be candidates for the Charge roster once the G League season begins.
Cleveland’s training camp roster now sits at 18 players heading into Tuesday’s preseason finale against the Pistons.
