Oklahoma City has used the preseason differently from Milwaukee. The champions have seen four different players lead them in scoring, with Aaron Wiggins, Brooks Barnhizer, Isaiah Joe, and Chris Youngblood all leading the way once.
Through four games, the championship starting for Oklahoma City has played sparingly. MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has appeared in one preseason game, finishing with 16 points and five assists in 7-for-9 shooting.
Jalen Williams (wrist) has yet to play in the preseason. Same for Chet Holmgren (shoulder). Isaiah Hartenstein, Lu Dort, Alex Caruso, and rookie Nikola Topic have all appeared in just one game apiece.
