Fans remained hopeful, though many were unsure if the team could pull off the win.
“Boston sports fans have seen crazier things happen. Even if we don’t win this year, last year we got a ring. Tatum got his ring. Whatever happens, we’re champions,” said one fan.
“I thought they were going to win, and they blew them out like I thought. They did it for Tatum,” said another fan.
Supporters said they’ll be back Friday night to cheer the team on in Game 6.
