COLUMBIA, S.C. — Collin Murray-Boyles was selected as the 9th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors.
Murray-Boyles was projected to hear his name called in the first round of the Draft on Wednesday, but is now the second-highest pick in Gamecock history, behind Tom Riker, who was selected eighth overall by the New York Knicks in 1972.
He was one of 24 athletes to receive a Green Room Invite to be there in person at the Barclay Center in New York.
Murray-Boyles is now the 40th player drafted in program history drafted, and the second player drafted under Head Coach Lamont Paris (GG Jackson II was selected 45th overall by Memphis in the second round in 2023).
