It was the final week before playoffs get underway in Minnesota and a couple area teams picked up one more victory before it’s win or go home.

In La Crescent, the Caledonia Warriors were all over the Lancers in the first half jumping out to a 20-0 lead early in the second quarter.

Will Allen logged a passing touchdown, interception for a touchdown and receiving touchdown all before halftime for the away side.

The Warriors improve to 6-2 with the 40-7 win while La Crescent-Hokah drops to 1-7 overall on the season.

The Cotter Ramblers extended their win streak to four games in a row to end the regular season as they emerged victorious 43-24 over St. Charles.

Isaac Meinke and Dane Guzzo continued to be forces to be reckoned with in the ground attack and the Saints couldn’t stop it all game long.

Cotter enters the postseason record with a 7-1 record, with that one loss coming back in mid-September to Pine Island.

The Winhawks of Winona lost their regular season final in a tight game against Rochester Century 28-20.

The home side had a chance to send the game to overtime on a late drive in the fourth quarter but an interception for the Panthers sealed the deal.

Winona finishes with a 2-6 record on the season.
