Who says preseason games aren’t intense?
The Celtics and Raptors completed the preseason version of a heavyweight fight on Wednesday night at TD Garden, with Xavier Tillman’s last-second shot lifting the Celtics to a 110-108 victory over Toronto.
The main story, though, came in the first quarter, when Jaylen Brown left the game due to left hamstring tightness. He was listed as doubtful to return but never did make it out of the locker room. Celtics fans surely hope that was precautionary, as the regular season is just a week away.
The Celtics — especially a number of bench players — got some good experience in a game that had some actual juice to it.
