Add Cooper Flagg to the list of Dallas Mavericks who will get to wear their own shoes on the court during an NBA game.

Flagg and New Balance officially announced Thursday the “Hesi Low v2 X Cooper Flagg,” a player-exclusive colorway of New Balance’s popular basketball model inspired by Cooper’s Maine roots and the natural beauty of his home state.

The launch celebrates Flagg’s “journey to the NBA and upcoming rookie season, telling the story of the authentic connection shared by New Balance, Maine and Cooper. Taking inspiration from the vast greenery of Maine, the shoe is infused with subtle green accents that echo the state’s natural landscape. Details throughout the silhouette nod to the trees and lush nature that define Maine, offering a fresh, organic feel.”

The colorway will officially be available in stores for $119.99 on Wednesday, the same day Flagg’s NBA career will begin in Dallas against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs at American Airlines Center.

“I’m taking the next step in my career, but I’m always going to be a product of my hometown in Maine,” said Flagg in a statement.

“Working with the New Balance design team on this has been really cool and it allows me to take a piece of Newport with me as I step onto the court for my first official NBA game.”

An improbable NBA draft lottery win gave the Mavericks the right to draft Flagg first overall in June.

After a roller-coaster season that saw the departure of Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in one of the most shocking trades in NBA history, the acquisition of Flagg infused some immediate excitement back into the Mavericks’ potential moving forward.

In four preseason games, Flagg averaged 11.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and nearly a block per game in just under 22 minutes a night.
