The Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks close out their 2025 preseason tonight at State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

Houston enters with a perfect 3–0 preseason record, most recently edging the Pelicans 130–128 in a back-and-forth finish. The Rockets will rest several key players for the finale, including Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, Alperen Sengun, Jabari Smith Jr., Tari Eason, Steven Adams, and Clint Capela.

Head coach Ime Udoka said the regular-season starting lineup remains undecided, adding that tonight’s game won’t impact those choices. Dorian Finney-Smith and Jae’Sean Tate are also out with ankle injuries.

Atlanta, meanwhile, looks to bounce back after a loss in its earlier preseason meeting with Houston. The Hawks’ depth has been a bright spot — rookies Asa Newell and Jacob Toppin have made strong impressions with extended minutes, and the frontcourt continues to show promising growth heading into the regular season.
