The Indiana Pacers are making their second consecutive trip to the NBA Eastern Conference finals. They beat the Milwaukee Bucks 4-1 in the first round and the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-1 in the conference semifinals.

Awaiting them in the conference finals is either the New York Knicks or the Boston Celtics. New York leads their series 3-2 going into Game 6 on May 16.
