Brown will start in Friday’s preseason game against the Thunder, Katy Winge of Altitude Sports reports.
The 29-year-old will enter the starting five with Jamal Murray (rest) sitting out the team’s preseason finale. Brown is expected to provide a spark off the bench this season and will likely compete for playing time with Jalen Pickett, Julian Strawther and Tim Hardaway.
