Giannis, Doc Rivers and Myles Turner speak on Bucks’ 127-121 win over Bulls
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Doc Rivers and Myles Turner speak on Bucks’ preseason 127-121 win over Bulls on Oct. 12, 2025 at the United Center in Chicago.
A little over a week after the Wisconsin Herd, the Milwaukee Bucks‘ G League affiliate based in Oshkosh, acquired the returning player rights of Johnny Davis, the Bucks signed the 23-year-old to an Exhibit 10 contract.
If his deal is not converted to a two-way contract, Davis will be likely be waived and sets him up for a roster spot with the Herd for the 2025-26 season.
Davis, a La Crosse native and a former star for the University of Wisconsin Badgers, was the No. 10 pick in the 2022 draft by the Washington Wizards. In three seasons with the Wizards, Davis appeared in 112 games and averaged 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. His playing time diminished each of the last two seasons after playing in 15.1 minutes per game as a rookie, and he was traded to Memphis on Feb. 6 as part of a three-team trade.
The Grizzlies waived him on Feb. 21 without ever playing in a game.
In 31 career G League games, Davis has averaged 13.1 points per game. The Herd acquired Davis in a deal with the Westchester Knicks.
The 6-foot-5 Davis was a coveted recruit from La Crosse Central High School who committed to the Badgers in the 2020 class along with his twin brother Jordan.
What is an Exhibit 10 contract?
It is a 1-year, non-guaranteed minimum salary deal that can also include a bonus of up to $75,000 if the player spends at least 60 days with a team’s G League affiliate after being waived. An Exhibit 10 can also be converted into a two-way contract for the NBA team.
