WASHINGTON (7News) — Capital One Arena is rolling out new menu items in the “Arena Bar & Eats” section for the 2025-26 season.
The Arena Bar & Eats dining concept was created by celebrity chef and restaurateur Chef Spike Mendelsohn. Balos, Federalist Pig, Soko and Insomnia Cookies are just some of the featured restaurants you can eat at.
Soft pretzels from the DMV bakery, Bread & Water Company, have just hit the menu at Capital One. Barbeque lovers can also try out the new D.C. half-smoke, pictured below.
If seafood is more your style, try the new “Mumbo Lumbo Jumbo.” It’s a combination of DMV-area crab, topped with salad on a buttery brioche bun.
Executive Chef Steven Haughie, with Aramark Sports + Entertainment, said the fan experience is priority for his staff.
Arena Bar & Eats is one of many new additions to the arena, as part of Monumental Sports & Entertainment’s multi-phase construction project.
In March 2024, D.C. leaders and Monumental, which owns the NBA Washington Wizards and NHL Washington Capitals, agreed to a multi-million dollar deal to renovate Capital One Arena.
