UNH men’s basketball team signs 13-year-old to the Wildcats

DURHAM, N.H. —

The University of New Hampshire men’s basketball team added a new teammate Friday afternoon.

13-year-old Will Gustafson signed on to join the Wildcats. Gustafson has spina bifida and type 1 diabetes.

Gustafson signed with New Hampshire through Team IMPACT, a nonprofit organization that matches children with disabilities with sports teams across the country.

Over the next two years, Gustafson will take part in team practices and games.
