Giannis, Doc Rivers and Myles Turner speak on Bucks’ 127-121 win over Bulls

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Doc Rivers and Myles Turner speak on Bucks’ preseason 127-121 win over Bulls on Oct. 12, 2025 at the United Center in Chicago.

If Myles Turner has a fall bucket list, he can cross apple-picking off of it.

The new Milwaukee Bucks center is continuing to live his best Wisconsin life, recently paying a visit to the autumn staple that is Sturtevant’s Apple Holler. He even made a bucket while he was there.

“First Wisconsin Apple Picking Experience Rumor Has It The Best Apples Are At The Tops Of The Trees,” Turner posted on X on Oct. 13.

Standing 6-foot-11, he would know. He can reach ’em, as he demonstrated in one of the several video clips and photos he shared from his trip to the orchard, which also has a family fun park, restaurant and shop.

Turner swooshed a basket on Holler Hoops — the basketball hoop was hooked to wood panels attached to a gravity wagon. And he posed next to a giant colorful “how tall are you?” sign, featuring artwork of jack-o’-lanterns stacked on top of each other. Looks like Turner was just a foot or so away from maxing out the marked-on measurements.

The Bucks wrapped up their exhibition schedule earlier this week with a 3-1 record. Turner was held out of the final preseason game, against Oklahoma City, with soreness in his right calf.

Milwaukee’s regular-season opener is Oct. 22 at Fiserv Forum against the Washington Wizards.

Turner signed a free-agent deal with the Bucks over the summer after 10 seasons with the Indiana Pacers.

Since Turner touched down in Wisconsin, he’s been embracing the new experiences the state has to offer. And, Wisconsin has embraced him right back.

Turner has gone to a Green Bay Packers game, Milwaukee Brewers games — he threw out a ceremonial first pitch — golfed at Whistling Straits, visited Lake Michigan and checked out the Third Ward, including the Milwaukee Public Market and Sweet Diner.
