The Sheriff’s Office fully supports the United States Constitution and everyone’s right to free speech.”Placer CountyThe Placer County Sheriff’s Office provided the following statement:“The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is aware of the planned gatherings this weekend. The last time this group assembled, the event remained peaceful, and we’re optimistic the same will hold true. Peaceful protest is a right enshrined in our Constitution, and we remain committed to safeguarding the First Amendment.
