All right, Jordan, if we could, the start of *** new chapter for you in your NBA career, the same age as the other core players on this team. Is it fair to say you all are kind of *** core for you, Zion, Herb, and Trey? I look at it that way. Is that fair or unfair? Yeah, I think it’s *** pretty fair statement, um, being able to have *** core set of guys, same values, um. Extremely talented, um, and we all have the same goals, so being able to be on *** team with guys who are in the same position, same mindset is, uh, is huge. As far as this team last year, look, you were on *** team that obviously was playing young guys that was at *** different point of competitiveness. This is *** team that wants to be highly competitive. How important is that for you and do you see *** team that can make some noise in the Western Conference? Uh, for me personally it’s big, it’s huge, um, that’s just the type of basketball that I play, the type of basketball I’m accustomed to and. Uh, of course I learned *** lot over the last two years playing in *** different type of environment, different type of situation, but being able to learn the things that I have just over my career, um, and be able to come and apply them and apply them to games and, um, impact winning night in and night out, uh, is something that you strive for as *** basketball player and, uh, we got *** really good group of guys, really good group of coaches to, uh, put us in *** position to be successful. One of the things Joe Dumars told us and Troy Weaver said as well is that when they took over they kind of circled you and said this is *** guy that we want on this team. What does that mean to you that the characteristics that you have as *** basketball player and *** teammate are things that they sought to acquire? Yeah, I mean, I feel like it means that they know basketball, that they know hoop. Just being able to play at the highest level not only in the NBA but just kind of all throughout my basketball career, um, winning *** high schoolinal Four in college, um, championship in the NBA championship in the NBA. These are things that, uh, that have common denominators and what it takes to win. Winning is just *** formula that everybody wants to reach and, um, being able just to work hard, be my motivation and, uh. To apply that by just having fun on the court, uh with my playstyle and personality and mix that with *** really good group of guys we have in the locker room and feel like it’s *** really good uh recipe for success. Has anything surprised you since you got here that how athletic Zion is or how well Trey shoots it or is there anything that you jumped out and said, Boy, that’s different than what I thought it was going to be in *** positive way. Uh, I just think how quick we clicked off the court in the locker room, guys’ personalities, guys’ sense of humor, the things we watched, the things we listen to, the clothes we wear, um, I’ve been on two teams where one was extremely. Um, older veteran guys and one was really, really young, so now being right in the middle when it comes to age gap, um, *** lot of the references and stuff that we have are, um, are landing. Alright, 2 more quick questions for you. You got traded to New Orleans. You get here, you start training camp, you go to Australia. Have you had *** chance to settle into our city and our culture, even in *** small way? Uh, *** little bit, um, drove around. Little bit trying to get familiar with the area, some of the things that I may do or recommend for my family as they come in um but more so just getting prepared for the season, getting settled into the house, um, we move pretty quickly with the season coming up, so, um, just trying to get going and get ready to win some games honestly. Alright, and final question here, by the way, we could do cuisine forever. I could throw restaurants at you people watching right now will probably say tell them to go to this restaurant. Dog people, cat people it it’s, it’s well known you are *** cat person. Well documented. What do you like? I like cats too. They’re quiet, they’re simple, they’re easy. um, why do you like them so much? I was just having this conversation like some people wanna feel wanted when it comes to pets and dogs and like they come in they jumping on you they’re obsessed in in your face um I’m very much the opposite and I’d rather you leave me alone so you know to have like an independent cat. Um, who comes and they say hi to you whenever they want to or on their own accord, um, and then go back to doing their thing is pretty, uh, impressive to me, so, um, I’ve had them since I was young and big cat advocate. I love animals in general though I just happen to have cats, so yeah. I like it and we’re gonna leave you alone now so you can get ready for the season and uh and hopefully it’s *** successful year so Jordan, we really appreciate it thank you very much.

The NBA has reminded teams to prioritize addressing inappropriate fan behavior at games this season.
In a memo sent to all 30 clubs, the league told teams that it wants “consistent and vigilant enforcement of the NBA Fan Code of Conduct … to deter and address fan misconduct at NBA games and events.”
