After head coach Kevin Dupes suddenly resigned due to medical reasons, Trinity High School in Cumberland County appointed Norris Cole, a two-time NBA champion, as the interim head coach for the girls basketball program.Cole, who played in the NBA from 2011 to 2016 and won championships with the Miami Heat, also played overseas before retiring.His wife, Kelsey, is the girls head basketball coach at Carlisle.Last year, the Shamrocks achieved a 21-6 record, winning the District 3 title before falling in the 3A state quarterfinals.
