It’s time for a new season for the Philadelphia 76ers as they begin the 2025-26 season by taking on the Boston Celtics on the road on Wednesday. It gives them an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and to move forward after a miserable 24-58 season the year before.

The Sixers have a talented roster featuring the star trio of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey as the Sixers hope for better health for those three–specifically Embiid and George–as they look to get back on the path toward contention. If those three are healthy plus the new additions made in the offseason play their roles, then there is a chance for Philadelphia to break through in the wide-open East.
