Embiid’s Preseason Return Impressed Fans and Analysts
Embiid made his return to the court for the first time since February, playing in 19 minutes on Friday night, filling the stat sheet with 14 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.
The former MVPÂ underwent a successful arthroscopic procedure on his left knee back in April, but appears to be moving much better than he did at any point last season, when he appeared in just 19 games.
He has played in just 58 games over the past two seasons due to a left knee injury and looked like a shell of himself for most of last season, scoring just 23.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in 30.2 minutes per game.
Sixers Projected Starting Lineup vs Boston
Look for Embiid to be in the starting lineup for the Sixers along with Tyrese Maxey, rookie VJ Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre, and Adem Bona against Boston.
