Kyrie Irving missed the Mavericks’ game vs. Spurs while recovering from a March 2025 ACL tear, with a return expected in early 2026.
As the Dallas Mavericks took on the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night, one notable absence in the squad was star small forward Kyrie Irving. Irving is recovering from an ACL injury he picked up in March 2025, and his recovery is not yet complete.

Irving injured his ACL in the previous season during a game against the Sacramento Kings on March 3, earlier this year. He has not featured for the Mavericks since. Irving’s ACL injury is serious, and he is expected to require nine to six months of recovery before he can return.
According to reports, Irving is expected to return in early 2026.
