Alex Caruso sustained a concussion during the Thunder game against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday and has entered the NBA’s concussion protocol, according to the Thunder.
According to the team, Caruso will begin the NBA’s mandated Return-to-Participation Protocol, a multi-step process designed to ensure players are symptom-free before returning to basketball activities.
There is no set timetable for Caruso’s return, as the team said recovery times vary depending on the player and the severity of the injury.
The team has not provided additional updates on his status beyond the league’s concussion policy requirements.
