UofL basketball’s Aly Khalifa files appeal after eligibility waiver denied

Louisville men’s basketball has run into a major eligibility issue heading into the new season.Projected starting center Aly Khalifa might not be able to play for the Cardinals this year.The NCAA denied Khalifa’s request for an extension on his five-year clock.Khalifa redshirted one season and played two years at Charlotte and one at BYU before redshirting last season with UofL.He has appealed the NCAA’s decision.
