Kansas State basketball will play in front of a crowd for the first time this season when it plays an exhibition game at Missouri on Friday, Oct. 24, at 9 p.m.

The Wildcats and Tigers will tip off from Mizzou Arena in Columbia. It is the first of two exhibition games for the Wildcats, who host Division II Newman on Friday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m.

K-State and Mizzou will be televised on the SEC Network.

The Wildcats enter the season with four returnees and 10 newcomers as they begin Jerome Tang’s fourth year as coach. They feature All-American guard PJ Haggerty, a transfer from Memphis, who will lead a promising backcourt that also consists of Abdi Bashir Jr. (Monmouth), Nate Johnson (Akron), and Andrej Kostic (Serbia).

A game against Missouri should be a good test for the Wildcats when the Tigers are coming off an NCAA Tournament appearance. They should challenge for another trip to the dance while being led by the likes of Mark Mitchell, Anthony Robinson, Sebastian Mack, and Jevon Porter.

Kansas State basketball vs Missouri prediction

The game doesn’t matter, and it will be worth keeping an eye on how Tang distributes minutes across his roster. Missouri gets the edge here as it has a lot more continuity, and will feature Mitchell, an All-SEC forward, Robinson, and four other rotational pieces from a year ago, while K-State features 10 newcomers. Missouri should win this somewhere around 80-70.
