The Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Brooklyn Nets tonight at 7:30 pm EST. Let’s look at FanDuel’s betting lines for the game.

It’s hard to argue with this one. The Cavs are expected to lead the Eastern Conference in wins while the Nets… are likely to finish on the other end of the spectrum. It wouldn’t be the most shocking thing to ever happen. But the Cavs would have to really mess things up to lose this game.

Under 230.5 total points (-112)

The Cavs didn’t play great defense against New York in their season opener. They also didn’t generate offense at the same rate as last year. The lack of offense might carry over due to Darius Garland’s absence. But the defense? That should be much better. I’d lean towards the under.

Cavs Same Game Parlay Picks (+491):

Now let’s take a look at a few prop bets that can be combined into a parlay.

Jarrett Allen OVER 9.5 rebounds (-125)

Allen was a no-show in Cleveland’s season opener. We’d hope that he’ll take it upon himself to make up for this in game two. Grabbing 10 rebounds in a game is a common occurrence for Allen. He did it 47 times last season, more than half of his games.

Play Threes: Evan Mobley OVER 1.5 (-118)

You can expect Mobley to increase his three-point volume this season. He shot 4-8 against the Knicks and will likely stay aggressive versus the Nets. I’m not sure if we are at the point where I’d feel comfortable betting on Mobley’s three-point shooting, but we might be close.

The Cavs routinely dominated teams like the Nets last season. A big double-digit victory to get the wins started this season would be par for the course. There are obviously some concerns. The Nets are a young team that will play hard — while Cleveland is dealing with numerous injuries. The Cavs might not have the firepower to run Brooklyn off the court. But, you should hardly be surprised if they do.
