Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant will be available against the Miami Heat on Oct. 24 at FedExForum. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is also playing.
Morant and Caldwell-Pope were listed on the injury report following a season-opening 128-122 win against the New Orleans Pelicans. Grizzlies coach Tuomas Iisalo called both players “gametime decisions” about 90 minutes before the game.

Morant was dealing with left ankle soreness. He briefly limped in the fourth quarter of the win against New Orleans before finishing the game with 35 points on 13-for-20 shooting.
A left ankle sprain suffered on Oct. 5 during a practice led to Morant missing all five preseason games. He returned to practice ahead of the season opener.
Caldwell-Pope has been one of the NBA’s most available players throughout his career. He has never missed more than eight games in any of his previous 12 seasons.
Memphis did not practice on Oct. 23 and did not have a morning shootaround ahead of the game against the Heat.

The meeting with Miami is the first leg of the Grizzlies’ first home back-to-back. They’ll return to action again on Oct. 25 against the Indiana Pacers.
