CLEVELAND, Ohio — The FBI’s sprawling investigation into sports betting included arrests of two former Cleveland sports figures and a slew of other Cleveland connections.
Federal prosecutors called the case one of the most brazen sports corruption schemes since online betting became widespread. The FBI says the case involves insider betting, rigged poker games tied to New York Mafia families and tens of millions of dollars in fraud.
