In Wednesday’s victory, Tyrese Maxey led the way with 40 points and six assists while rookie V.J. Edgecomb added 35 points and seven rebounds of his own.
Now the 76ers will look to grab another victory on Saturday as they try to start the season off 2-0.
For the Hornets, they enter Saturday’s matchup looking for their second victory of the season as well after they defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.

Brandon Miller led the way for the Hornets in Wednesday’s victory as he ended the game with 25 points and seven assists while LaMelo Ball added 20 points and eight assists of his own.

While both teams are searching for their second victory of the season in Saturday’s matchup, they will both be without some of their key players.
Hornets Injury Report, Will Josh Green, Grant Williams Play?
For Charlotte, they have two players listed on their injury report for Saturday’s matchup as they have ruled out both Josh Green and Grant Williams.
Green remains sidelined as he continues to recover from left shoulder surgery while Williams is out due to recovery from right knee surgery for his torn ACL last season.

With these two players continuing to be sidelined, the Hornets will need key players to step up in their absence behind their core led by Ball and Miller.
76ers Injury Report, Will Paul George, Jared McCain Play?
On the other side, the 76ers have four players listed on their injury report, including star forward Paul George.

Philadelphia has ruled out George for Saturday’s game as he continues to recover from left knee surgery.
Of course, this will be George’s second missed game this season after he sat out Philadelphia’s season opener on Wednesday and it is likely that Kelly Oubre Jr. will continue to start in his place.

The 76ers have also ruled out Jared McCain as he continues to recover from right thumb surgery he underwent in the offseason while Trenton Watford will be sidelined due to left hamstring tightness.

Justin Edwards is also listed on the injury report with right rib soreness, though he is expected to play as he has been listed as probable.
