ATLANTA – Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the OKC Thunder will face the Atlanta Hawks on the road at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
OKC (2-0) escaped with a 141-135 double-overtime road win over Indiana on Thursday. The Thunder became the first team in NBA history to begin a season with two double-overtime games.
Atlanta (1-1) earned a 111-107 road win over Orlando on Friday. The Hawks have plenty of Oklahoma connections such as Norman native Trae Young and former Thunder forward Vit Krejci.

Thunder vs Hawks predictions, picks
Justin Martinez: OKC 118, Atlanta 109
OKC became the first team in NBA history to begin a season with two double-overtime games. That’s a taxing start to the new campaign for the short-handed Thunder, which is still without Jalen Williams and other key contributors. But OKC will still have the best player in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and the recent play of guys such as Aaron Wiggins and Ajay Mitchell is encouraging. I’m going with the Thunder in yet another close one.
