The Boston Celtics are still trying to nail down their first win of the 2025-26 regular season after dropping their first pair of games to Eastern Conference foes. And they will have to secure that win, if they can, with a growing list of players who have found their way onto Boston’s injury report.

Now on their second road game of the season and with as many of them in a row, the Celtics will take on the Detroit Pistons for a Sunday (Oct. 26) afternoon tilt at Michigan’s Little Ceasar’s Arena vs. a Pistons squad that has a few players of their own likely to miss the game or threatening to.

Records, standing, and streaks

Currently, the Celtics have a 0-2 record. That has them on a two-game losing streak, and puts them in a two-way tie for last place in the East with the Brooklyn Nets.
