To commemorate the players who wore those numbers, Warriors Wire is covering the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. For this article, we begin with the fifth of 10 players who wore the No. 30 jersey for the Warriors.

That player would be Golden State wing alum Billy Owens. After ending his college career at Syracuse, Owens was picked up with the third overall selection of the 1991 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings.

The Carlisle, Pennsylvania native would play the first three seasons of his pro career with the Dubs, however, after a trade before the start of his rookie season. That ended with a trade to to the Miami Heat in 1994.

During his time suiting up for the Warriors, Owens wore only jersey No. 30 and put up 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.0 steals per game.
