SANTA CRUZ — The Santa Cruz Warriors, the NBA G league affiliate for Golden State, released their 2025 training camp roster on Monday.

The Warriors — who have a new general manager, Zach Harris, assistant general manager, Noah Robotham, and head coach, Lainn Wilson — open their 2025-26 season with the Tip-Off Tournament and home games against the Rip City Remix on Nov. 7 and 8 at 7 p.m.

Last season, under second-year coach Nicholas Kerr, who is now part of Golden State’s coaching staff, Santa Cruz took fourth in the Western Conference for a second straight season and earned a repeat trip to the playoffs.

Santa Cruz’s 2025-26 roster will be headlined by three Two-way players: 6-foot-7 forward Jackson Rowe, out of Cal State Fullerton, 6-2 guard Pat Spencer, out of Northwestern, and 6-8 forward Alex Toohey, who previously played for the Sydney Kings in Australia. The trio will also see action with Golden State.

Rowe played 12 games for Santa Cruz last season and averaged 13.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. Spencer played in just three games for Santa Cruz and averaged 14.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 6.0 assists. Toohey, who, like Spencer, can light it up from beyond the arc, averaged 10.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in Australia last season.

In addition to the three guards, 6-5 Ethan Taylor, 6-3 Derrin Boyd, and 6-3 Franco Miller Jr., that Santa Cruz landed in the 2025 NBA G League Draft on Saturday, the Warriors will feature plenty other new faces.

Sepncer, 29, will be the team’s oldest player, when he’s with the team. Jimmy Whitt, 28, a 6-3 guard out of Arkansas, will be the second oldest, and not far behind is Marques Bolden, 27, a 6-10 center out of Duke. Bolden saw action in 19 NBA games, with Cleveland, Milwaukee, and Charlotte, from 2019-24.

Whitt played in 22 games with Santa Cruz in 2023-24, and averaged 4.9 points and 2.5 rebounds with a limited role.

Like Whitt and Bolden, the Warriors also held the returning rights to Taevion Kinsey, a 6-4 guard out of Marshall, who is also in camp after averaging double digits in scoring each of the past two seasons with the G League’s Salt Lake City Stars.

Two former University of Houston players, 6-1 guard LJ Cryer and 6-8 forward Ja’Vier Francis, former Texas Tech talent, Chance McMillian, a 6-3 guard, as well as 6-10 forward Jacksen Moni, a talented shooter out of North Dakota State, are also in camp.

Riley Grigsby, a 6-6 forward who competed for Seattle University, was acquired from the G League’s player pool and is in camp. Grigsby was born and raised in San Jose and was a three-year varsity starter at Archbishop Mitty High.

Also in camp are three players who advanced from a local tryout: 6-10 forward Jack Clark, out of Virginia Commonwealth, 6-5 guard Trey Galloway, out of Indiana, and 6-2 guard Michael O’Connell, out of North Carolina State.
