Devin Booker leads the team with 26.7 points per game, followed by Dillon Brooks (19.3) and Grayson Allen (15.7), but the supporting cast has yet to produce.

Jalen Green has yet to make his debut for the Suns, but his return is expected to provide much-needed scoring depth after the departure of Durant.

Defensively, Phoenix has been equally underwhelming, allowing 126.0 points per game through three contests.

The Jazz, on the other hand, have looked much sharper early in the season and could easily be undefeated. They opened with a surprising 129–108 win over the LA Clippers, powered by a balanced attack — Lauri Markkanen, Walker Kessler, and Brice Sensabaugh each scored 20 or more points. Kessler, standing 7-foot-2, also anchored the paint with four blocks.

Utah narrowly dropped its second game to the Sacramento Kings, falling 114–113 after a late Domantas Sabonis put-back with 6.4 seconds left sealed it for Sacramento.

Predictions

Utah has the edge here with a more dynamic offense and a defense capable of stops.
