One of the NBA’s most intense rivalries is renewed Monday night on Peacock when Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets (1-1) roll into Minneapolis to take a Minnesota Timberwolves team (2-1) minus Anthony Edwards. Since Edwards was announced as OUT for tonight’s game, the line has shifted a full point to Denver and the Game Total has shrunk one point.
That is the big news of the day. T-Wolves star Anthoy Edwards is out for upwards of two weeks with a hamstring strain. Competing with Edwards on the shelf will require players like Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo to step up and shoulder more of the scoring load.
