Carmelo Anthony seemingly used to have a well-documented beef with the Denver Nuggets organization.

For one, he thought Nuggets ownership gave Nikola Jokić his former No. 15 jersey as a way to spite him. But then Anthony entered the Basketball Hall of Fame, where he gave the Nuggets a nice shoutout in his celebratory speech. And now, as an NBC analyst with a professional approach to his work, he gave NBA fans everywhere who would like to see him on even more public, friendly terms with the Denver organization a great treat.

After the Nuggets’ 127-114 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night, Anthony and Jokić had a chat about what’s been making Denver’s NBA No. 1-ranked offense hum. Note that the two themselves have never had a beef. Whatever Anthony was upset about in the past was related to organizational leadership. And because Jokić couldn’t see who he was talking to without a monitor while still standing on the court, even he seemed delighted to speak with Anthony on national television about the Nuggets.

Their little chat starts at the 1:28 mark in the video from NBC below:

Naturally, seeing Jokić and Anthony talk like this, even briefly, delighted NBA fans:

I’ve NEVER seen Carmelo Anthony and Nikola Jokic talk IN MY LIFE.

That’s a big moment for me.

Never thought I’d see the day where Carmelo Anthony is interviewing Nikola Jokić on NBA Showtime on Peacock… What a crazy world we live in!

Peacock got Melo and Jokic to talk in a postgame interview. As dumb as all the streaming stuff is this season, they win for that alone.
