It was hard to predict what to expect from the Chicago Bulls going into the 2025-26 NBA season. After another year of falling short in the play-in game, the Bulls future is still murky. Yet, the team is now 3-0 to start the season and a fun storyline early on.

Chicago’s comeback win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night was one of those ‘fun’ Bulls games where you could see the team playing with no pressure and just going out to have fun. Their three wins on the season have now come against the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks, two playoff teams and a play-in team.

All three are projected to finish ahead of the Bulls this season.

After the game,  guard Ayo Dosunmu revealed something interesting about this team early on. And it goes back to how well they get along.

The challenge moving forward for Artūras Karnišovas and Marc Eversley is to add pieces that fit the current state of the roster for the franchise. With no true superstar just yet, it’s difficult to build a winner if you don’t have the right pieces. But Dosunmu believes this group is special in at least one way.

“It felt special just going to dinners. This group, by far, is prob the closest group in terms of that. You know how some teams it might’ve been forced in terms of the way we clicked as fast? This group, we can go on a bus ride, we laughing, we talking about the NBA, it’s more of a brotherhood,” Dosunmu said via The Athletic’s Joel Lorenzi.

“You ever went to the park and played with your brothers? If your brother open, you gon throw it to him, right? Because that’s your brother.”

That’s very interesting to hear.

We know the Bulls have moved on from key players over the past few years and while I don’t believe this is a direct shot at them or anything, it’s good to hear that this group is gelling more. This is also happening with Coby White being hurt and his return should give the Bulls a big boost on the offensive end of the floor too.

How long can the Chicago Bulls keep this up? It’s tough to tell but it does feel a little different with this group. And right now, they are fun to watch.
