As a result of last season’s inaugural “Champions for Change” event, the San Antonio Spurs are proud to announce the distribution of nearly $100,000 in grant funding to local nonprofit organizations recognized for their extraordinary community impact. Through funds raised at the Champions for Change event, which brought together Spurs players, coaches, and fans for a night of philanthropy and connection, four local nonprofits were selected as this year’s Champions for Change: Gardopia Gardens, San Antonio Food Bank, Merced Housing Texas and Holy Redeemer Food Pantry.
