The Memphis Grizzlies have alternated wins and losses through their first games of the season. If that trend holds, they should be in store for good fortune on Oct. 29.
The Grizzlies (2-2) are back in action on the road against the Phoenix Suns (9 p.m. CT, FanDuel Sports Network) at Mortgage Matchup Center.

Memphis lost Oct. 27 against the Golden State Warriors in its first road game of the season. The Suns (1-3) should be a step down in competition. They are finding their identity after revamping their roster. They parted ways with Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal in the offseason.
One of the players Phoenix acquired is former Grizzlies wing Dillon Brooks. He won’t be available against Memphis due to right groin soreness. Suns guard Jalen Green is listed as questionable to play. He hasn’t made his season debut while dealing with a right hamstring strain.
A Grizzlies wing could be making his season debut, too. Vince Williams Jr. is questionable to play. He has been dealing with a right ankle impingement injury.
The Grizzlies have won five consecutive meetings against the Suns, including all four last season. Follow along for live updates from The Commercial Appeal.
