The Golden State Warriors have had over 600 players don the more than 60 jersey numbers used by their players over the more than 75 years of existence the team has enjoyed in its rich and storied history.

Founded in 1946 during the Basketball Association of America (BAA — a precursor league of the NBA) era, the team has called home the cities of Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, and even San Diego.

To commemorate the players who wore those numbers, Warriors Wire is covering the entire history of jersey numbers and the players who sported them since the founding of the team. For this article, we begin with the ninth of 10 players who wore the No. 30 jersey for the Warriors.

That player would be Golden State forward alum Bill Curley. After ending his college career at Boston College, Curley was picked up with the 22nd overall selection of the 1994 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs.

The Boston, Massachusetts native would play the first season of his pro career with the Detroit Pistons after a trade before the start of his rookie season. He also played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Houston Rockets before he signed with the Dubs in 1999. His stay with the team would span 24 games before he’d be dealt to the Dallas Mavericks in 2000, only to return to Golden State to finish his NBA career that same year.

During his time suiting up for the Warriors, Curley wore only jersey Nos. 17 and 31 and put up 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.
