This is the second of a three-game homestand for OKC. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads.
The Thunder (5-0) had another close victory. They escaped with a 107-101 win over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 31 points and nine rebounds. It felt like a game they were going to lose until they had a strong finish.
Meanwhile, the Wizards (1-3) have been a lot more fun than anticipated. They dropped a 139-134 OT loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. Alex Sarr had his best career game yet with 31 points and 11 rebounds. Kyshawn George also had 20 points.

On paper, this should be a blowout. But the first week of the season has painted a different picture. The short-handed Thunder have played in mostly close games. That should continue as Williams and Holmgren remain out. Meanwhile, the Wizards have been a fun, high-scoring group. This should be a sixth straight win for OKC because of Gilgeous-Alexander, but it could be an entertaining watch before it pulls away in the end.
Prediction: Thunder 114, Wizards 101
