Rollins, Portis and Rivers speak on Bucks’ 120-110 win over Warriors
Ryan Rollins, Bobby Portis and Doc Rivers speak on the Bucks’ 120-110 win over the Warriors on Oct. 30, 2025 at Fiserv Forum.
Milwaukee Bucks point guard Kevin Porter Jr. had missed over a week since spraining his left ankle on Oct. 22, but now his season has been put on pause for the foreseeable future as the 25-year-old injured the meniscus in his right knee on during a workout on Oct. 30.
The team announced the injury on Oct. 31, and that Porter will undergo surgery. The team categorized it as a “minor orthopedic procedure” which they believe will keep him out for about four weeks.
Porter, who re-signed with the Bucks this offseason on a 2-year, $10.5 million deal, began the year as the starting point guard. He scored 10 points and handed out two assists in just nine minutes of play against Washington on Oct. 22 before he stepped on Bobby Portis Jr.’s foot and rolled his left ankle.
Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said Porter had just gotten back on the court before the team’s win over Golden State on Oct. 30, and Porter was on the bench with the team during the Bucks victory.
