Patrick Beverley drops verdict on Calvin Booth amid Denver Nuggets Game 6 win.
The Denver Nuggets top brass sent shockwaves through the NBA community when they fired head coach Michael Malone and general manager Calvin Booth ahead of the postseason.
At first, the decision confused fans, but it was later revealed that Malone and Booth reportedly had an ongoing feud.
For starters, Malone reportedly suspected that Booth had planted a ‘spy’ in his coaching staff, which further destroyed their relationship.

Heading into Game 6, the Nuggets faced a 3-2 deficit and a chance to be sent home. However, the Nuggets forced a Game 7 in the second-round series.
While Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray combined for 54 points in the 119-107 win, it was the effort from the bench that truly helped the Nuggets tie the series.
Speaking of which, a plethora of NBA fans were impressed with what Julian Strawther did in Game 6, including Patrick Beverley, who also dropped praise on ex-Nuggets GM Calvin Booth.

Pat Bev claims he now understands Booth’s point of view in his feud with Malone. After all, coach Malone wouldn’t have trusted a sophomore guard to play 20 minutes in an elimination game.

All things considered, Booth may have found the Nuggets an underrated player with the 29th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft.
