The Sacramento Kings (1-4) continue their Midwest swing this afternoon, taking on the Milwaukee Bucks (4-1) today at the Fiserv Forum.

Milwaukee enters with a 4-1 record, coming off convincing double-digit wins over the Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks. Giannis Antetokounmpo is playing at an MVP-caliber level, averaging 36.3 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists — all career highs. But he’s listed as questionable for today’s game, underscoring how dependent the Bucks remain on their superstar.

Ryan Rollins, the fourth-year guard out of Toledo, has emerged as a reliable second option. He’s averaging 18.6 points and 5.0 assists per game while shooting 44.4% from three, and is coming off a career-high 32-point outing against the Warriors.

Meanwhile, offseason acquisition Myles Turner has struggled to find his rhythm, averaging just 10.0 points per game on 38% shooting. Even so, the Bucks’ offense has been efficient and their defense stout — reflecting a team performing near the top of both ends of the floor.

Sacramento, meanwhile, enters at 1-4 after dropping three straight games. The Kings’ offense has sputtered, averaging just 111.0 points per game — third worst in the league.

Their defense (114.5 rating) has kept games competitive, with three of their four losses coming by an average margin of only 5.7 points. Zach LaVine has shone early on, averaging 29.2 points per game, but they’ll need more from Domantas Sabonis, whose 12.5 points per game mark a drop of nearly seven points from last season’s average. If Sabonis gets it together, then the Kings will see their number in the win column rise.

Predictions

The edge here goes to the Bucks, assuming Giannis plays. Few teams can contain him, and he’s elevating those around him. If he sits, Sacramento could steal one — but given their offensive struggles, it’s a tall task.

Prediction: Bucks 120, Kings 110
