Watch your back, Domas.
Kings star Domantas Sabonis was shoved in the back by Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis midway through the first quarter on Saturday at Fiserv Forum, leading to a brief scuffle between the teams.
The referees reviewed the incident and assessed a technical foul to Portis.
Portis appeared to be upset over the Kings’ previous possession when Sabonis dove for a loose ball and clipped the side of Portis’ right leg.
While there clearly was no intent on the part of Sabonis, Portis took exception to the action and retaliated the next time the Kings brought the ball up the court.
Cooler heads prevailed, but it remains to be seen if the tension will carry over through the rest of the game between the Kings and Bucks.
