The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday. This is the third of a three-game homestand for OKC. This will be the first matchup of the season between the two squads.
The Thunder (6-0) eventually pulled away in a 127-108 win over the Washington Wizards on Thursday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 31 points in three quarters. Isaiah Joe and Ajay Mitchell each scored 20 points in the relaxed victory.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans (0-5) had a heartbreaker in their 126-124 loss to the LA Clippers on Friday. Kawhi Leonard scored the game-winner in the final second. He went off for 34 points. He spoiled Zion Williamson’s 29 points and Jordan Poole’s 30 points.
The Thunder remain without two of their three best players. Jalen Williams (wrist surgery) is out. Chet Holmgren (back sprain) is out. Kenrich Williams (knee surgery) is out. Nikola Topic (testicular surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out.
Meanwhile, the Pelicans are mostly healthy. Dejounte Murray (torn Achilles) is out. Kevon Looney (knee sprain) is questionable. Trey Alexander (G League two-way) is out. Hunter Dickinson (G League two-way) is out.
