Grant McCasland’s Texas Tech squad will reportedly face an SEC team as part of its 2025-26 nonconference schedule.
According to CBS Sports college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Texas Tech and LSU will face off on December 7 at Fort Worth’s Dickies Arena. This would be the 10th meeting between the programs and the first since the 2022-23 season.
Tech won the last game by a 76-68 score in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Tech last played at Dickies Arena in December 2024, facing another SEC school in Texas A&M. The Aggies came away with a 72-67 win in that nonconference game.
